I am so happy Christmas came but so sad that it has past. Jordan and I decided last minute to go to Winnipeg for Christmas so we packed up Christmas Eve and headed North. It was a scary trip at first there was a storm coming in on the west coast so luckily we hit it only in a few spots on the way up the second half of the drive was not bad. We arrived at my parents house by 1:00 p.m Christmas morning. It was such a fun surprise. Everyone was surprised I thought for sure Marla (Jordan's mom) knew but she was just as surprised as everyone else. we stayed at their house for the trip so that was nice that they were so accommodating. My Mom's house was full so it was definitely not an option. We played games and hung out, we went tobogganing at the duck pond in -30 degrees weather. We went up to my Auntie Linda's house/cabin in West hawk for my birthday and that was so much fun being with everyone. That night we stayed with Tannis and Shane at their cabin. The next day was filled with tobogganing again and ice fishing, plus snowmobiling at night with my Dad and my nephew Kyle. We came home and then topped it all off with a Great New Years Eve party at my parent's house. I think we stayed up til 4:00 in the morning. In Fact every night was till about 2:00. It was fun but tiring. I was sad to leave but grateful to get home and get some sleep. It took us 22 hours to get home and I was scared for our lives at the beginning of the drive but the last 2/3's of it was great. I loved the trip and most of all loved being with all my family. I was trying to be tough and enjoy a quiet Christmas in Utah but in the end I'm just a suck and I'm glad i got to go home to Winnipeg.
